Jason Mumm has 21 years of experience as a consultant in the utilities sector, the largest portion of which has been in local governments, particularly in the areas of water and wastewater financial planning, pricing, cost allocation and strategy. His most recent work has focused heavily on the issues of affordability of public utility rates and the challenges that local communities are facing in a world with declining real income and rapidly increasing infrastructure costs. He is a graduate of Colorado State University and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado. Prior to his professional career, Mumm proudly served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army where he served at home and abroad, including two Southwest Asia Service Medals for deployments to the Middle East.
